sorry for the double post. but what amp kit do you recommend? I've found a few but I don't really know what is good, the length I need and so on. Thank you for the help thus far.

As for the amp kit, are you limited by a budget? If so, what'* the most you're willing to spend?

As of yet, I'm not sure. Throw some links at me of what you thing is good. Also, as we talked about before, am I buying another battery to put in the trunk along with them considering my battery and alternator are acting strange? If so, which battery and how would I hook it up? I'm sorry I'm such a noob at this. :(

At the very least I'd go with a kit from Knukonceptz. I have some of their KLMX wire in my car right now, not fun stuff to work with, it'* got so many strands that it made getting it into the ring terminals and distribution block a pain in the ***. But recently I bought all new wire/distribution blocks/ring terminals so I can rewire my whole system, do the big 3 and wire up a secondary battery, this time I went with their KCA wire in 0ga....this wire gives the flexibility of their super expensive Kollosus Fleks wire (OFC) with the affordability of the KCA wire (CCA). I believe the strand count is different, which allows the flexibility and makes the wire so much easier to work with when putting the ends in terminals cause the wire stays twisted much better than the KCA wire does. However, since your amp can only handle 4ga. I highly suggest you buy a 0ga. wiring kit and a 0/4ga. reducer so it will fit in your amp. The reason for that is because 4ga. wire with as long of a run as you're gonna need is gonna result in more voltage loss, higher temps and more resistance in that wire. You're gonna need about 15ft. of wire so I'd go nothing less than 2ga., which isn't exactly an easy find as I found out. Besides, if you ever decide to add an amp for your mids and highs, you'd have to buy new power wire anyway. With 2ga. being an oddball size, you're best bet would be to get a 0ga. kit.

This one would run you $105

This one is $60

Plus you'd need to buy speaker wire and rca'*

Alright..I hate to want to be spoon fed..I honestly do..but I don't want to mess anything up. lol. :/. Is there a way you can give me links to what you think would be best. Everything I would need. From places like sonicelectronix, audiosavings and places like that. The RCA'*, the amp kit, the speaker wire...everything. I'm ready to order what I can, save up and order the rest. I'm ready to also get the box made for them as well. I'm sorry I'm such a pain

Hey Monte, I apologize for being a nuisance..I was wondering if you could take a look at my headunit and see if I am able to power the subs and everything properly. I don't know much about it. I'm sorry. I'm planning on buying speakers and amping them later on and I want to make sure I can handle it...otherwise I'll buy another headunit. It'* a Kenwood eXcelon KDC-X494. I'm sorry. You know I'm new and everything. I just want to be able to handle everything. Especially since one of my SA-12'* will be here on Saturday.
