If you have the bose stereo and want to keep the chimes and RAP (radio still on after car is shut off until opening the door), you would need the GMOS-09. I found mine on ebay for $99 shipped. Otherwise there are other harnesses for cheaper that will work I'm sure.

You need a monunting bracket because the hole where our OEM radio'* are is huge. If you buy a double din you wont need this. http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Produ...GMK422&tp=3121. If you dont care about chimes and talking to onstar you only need the wire harness for the speakers. You will need a dremel to cut out the back of the dash for depth. I know it sounds crazy but once you get the stock radio out and try to put the aftermarket in you will understand. If you want AM/FM radio you will need a VOLKSWAGON antenna adapter. And you need extra wire so you can run the power from something because the stock harness wont power an aftermarket radio for some reason.[/url]

Its a ribbon connector like those used in computers. Most stores that sell car audio should have them for no more than $25

not sure yet most likely a pioneer. Ok, so i went to walmart and they have a scoshe Interface i dont remember if it was the GM09SR or not but on the scoshe website they have it for 100 bucks, and at wallmart if its the same one its only 40. What do u think. Is this the right one? I dont have bose. And, also where do i find the antenna adaptor? And someone said something about finding an extension to run the power wire from something because the stock harness doesnt have one? How would i do this. IM SORRY, this is probably the hardest ive dealt with in car audio. Id appreciate it very much for all your posts. tHANKS
