I guess some of those guys just arnt that experienced to get it done within 1-2 hours he must of took a smoking brake because 4 hours to install the in dash dvd player is almost ridiculous and he'* a mobile guy? I could understand if you were waiting in line but there was no line? anyway Mouse was right if the car has on-star he doesn't need to worry about the chimes because its the ones without it that the chimes are based on the factory radio.

well Unfortunately the speakers were not working when he hooked the head unit up. So he had to crawl in the trunk and make sure the amp was working which it wasnt so he had to hook it up to make it hot. Once he did that we got sound...he is a big guy and getting in the trunk was no easy task especially at 8:00pm at night. He worked his butt off to get it working for me the other issue was the mounting unit would not mesh with the space, so we had to kinda force it in there with some screws to hold it. and finding a universal wiring harness in this area was a challenge. But all in all he did a good job and he is also a mobile mechanic so he is coming tuesday next week to do a tune up on my car and other things. I will take pictures of the new dvd player today and post them for you.

I found my top 100 from 1978-2005 DVD with over 10,000 songs on it and it works perfect in my new Farenheit DVD player in the car, who needs FM radio when you have 10K songs at your fingertips!!
