Default 1995 SSEi Tweeters

Do one of you guys (or girls) whom have replaced a working eight speaker systems with aftermarket speakers still have the original tweeters laying around taking up valuable space in the garage. Fronts and rears or one or two doesn't matter to me but my wife sure would like to hear better sound than the one we have now (all have died). I would like 95-up please but will entertain any. Thanks.

I might have some lying around. I think one of my tweets is blown and one of my fronts is going, but I think I got them all lying around yet. I can test them for you but it might be a wekk or two before I can get something setup to test them.

I have all 4 of mine, but 3 of them are blown
The one that sounds the least like **** out of the 3 blown are in the rear tweeter positions, and the one good one is also back there

Too bad you didn't post this sooner, because i would of just gave them to you when they were still good

I'm sure some other generous person has theres kicking around and is willing to give them up

I'm betting he has an age preference on the Tweeters.

Ok ive said it time and again factroy speakers are low quality. Gm just overcharges for their factory replacement speakers. Here is an example of a typical factory replacement speaker and how much it should really cost. http://www.partsexpress.com/pe/showd...D=122240&DID=7
And for 30 bucks u can get a much better speaker than factory. For more info about getting the specific tweeters u want, u can email the company. all u need is a 1" tweeter and it would only cost a few cents

I follow what you are saying but my tweeter is seperate from the 51/4 mid-bass in the door this is a 1" tweeter in a 3"x3" plate that fits the factory mount. I don't want to change from the factory mount. I searched through that sight and found an Onkyo part that was close even had a GM style harness on it. beleive me this is frustrating because gm wants 30 bucks for a 2 dollar part
