hrmm.. i think im going to order them and cut the tip off like suggested above...

Im strobing them with sets of simple flasher circuits one flasher circuit on each light for making them flash very quickly, then another flasher to alternate between left and right sides.

If i like the sides i will make ALL of my turn lamps and probably my tail lanps LED'*. I LOVE LED'*

bmsgaffer86: If I were you I would buy 100 of them. You can always sell them on ebay to make most of your money back.

and if you love LED'* you need to check this kit out...

yes i have seen that set. *drool* I want it really bad... but i would only be able to justify 1/4 of that price for spending on lighting additions... the price is insane, but it is one beautiful set.

Both the 3MM and 5MM are green. I don't recall the viewing angle if I even seen it? Got them on EBAY. My bad though. I got 100 3MM for $6. For the 3MM LED'* this is the seller'* store I got them from on ebay: component-shop.

The 5MM I got 100 for like $12 or something and here'* the seller'* store name on ebay: hktaiyuen LED store

Hope that helps you out.

Thats a good deal and all... but i wanted BRIGHTER!

What i ordered (and i feel just slightly better than i would on ebay)

100 yellow 5mm LED'* - intensity 14,000 mcd

100 red 5mm LED'* - intensity 20,000 mcd (for when i do tail lights and for decoration on the lights above the corner lights)

order total - $71.60

needless to say i will be selling what i dont use. They were worth it tho, and i got it from a reputable electronics company. I will blind people with my turn signals muahahaha.
