should I seal my 6x9s?
What would be the pros and cons of sealing the rear 6x9s? Would i lose out on low frequency response? And how could i go about sealing them?

if you have subwoofers yes you should. the pressure from the subwoofer will move the cone of the 6x9 and you will get what some call speaker flutter. you will be able to hear it if it is bad enough and you may blow your speakers if you do not notice it and they are distorting at low frequency but your sub is covering the sound. you can buy speaker baffles at crutchfield but i just basicalymade them out of dynamate.you will loose some of your lows from the 6x9'* but your bass would becoming from subs if you need them.

I'm actually going to order some foam baffles from crutchfield tonight..... My JL'* push too hard!a
So far that'* my only real problem with the stock speakers, they're pretty damn good behind an aftermarket HU, if you keep the bass outta them.

I think i would get the foam ones. the foam absourbs the rear sound wave some what. i think that the plastic one would reflect the 6x9 rear movement back onto itself more. it is the same idea behind the dynamate baffles you put behind ypour speakers in your door. you want the rear sound wave to seem like it goes on forever not reflecting back at the cone.

But the foam ones won't do much against subs ompressing the 6x9'*... Which is what i'm after, and some more pronouced mids.
Stuffing hte 6x9 baffle would absorb sound, and make it work like a bigger box....
