Keyless entry question on a 01 grand am
My GA boards could not help me out, maybe y'all can.

Ok when my car was in the hit and run at work, the body shops and dealer ran my vin. It said i had keyless entry. So some months later I got some remotes. Today I took it to the dealer, they said it was a 80% chance i got the right one since their was 3 different ones for the 2001 GA. But then he comes back with this. Thankfully he did not charge me the 40$.
He said code KCV voided AU0. With my dumb self i forgot to ask did they even try to program the remotes, was just to happy i did not have to pay 40$. I also have the the black box on my back speaker deck. But anyways is their any truth to this, about the the voiding AU0? AU0 is also on my spair tire cover.

I went to Larry Puckett Chevrolet today (shameless plug) about the keyless entry. It turns out i might have the wrong remotes. Because on my car the receiver is on the back speaker deck. I think. I know their is a box back their.
He did not have a print out on the location of the receiver located under the dash. If anyone knows the location please tell
The fobs i have are the $80 ones. I got two of them off ebay for $20.
Part 2
I talk him into trying to program the fobs for free. He gets the tech 2 tool (Them things are sweet looking) But the moment he presses program it comes back with failure less than a half a second. He thinks my receiver might be bad. He said they have program cars with the KCV code before.
