im new to the bonneville so i have many questions, sry guys! im installing my system when the bonne gets outta the shop and i plan on installing the system myself.. ill deal with the speaker issue later but for starters, is getting through the firewall and running it through the floor fairly easy? anyone done it themselves with any helpful hints?

system: (pair) 6.5" alpine type * ; (pair) 6x9" alpine type * ; dual 460w amp, 2 channel ; one 12" Rockford Fosgate P2 (enclosed plexi-glass box) ; rockford power wiring

sorry Haro...im gonna have to disagree with your install
http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...ght=power+wire
mine is a much cleaner install and dosent waste excess wire across the engine bay
you will have to custom mount hte 6.5'* because the stock speaker is a 5.25, and do you have an SSE or SSEi??? they are they ones that have the issue with the rear speaker wiring

I just done them in my SSEi and it is tight in the back area, but what I did was pulled on the speaker and mounting ring gently until it poped out of the clips that hold them in.
Upon reinstalling them, you just have to make sure the clips are lined up and then snap the one closest to the seat in first, then the one near the back window. Once you hear it snap in, you know you got it.
It took a few tries, but it was much easier than trying to remove the speaker screws while the speakers are in the rear deck.
