bad thing about the headunit is that it only amps the center channel for surround sound and you have to add your own amps for the other 4 speakers. i was looking at it and thats what made me pick a different headunit. the old rf amps are underrated and tell you below what they put out in RMS but the newer ones are now putting peak stats on it which is really dissapointing.

yea but i didnt want a headunit that already had an internal amp. I bought the type RF amps for the specific reason of running them for my inside speakers. I have herd that the Type RF and Power amps push way more than there RMS ratings

The Type RF and Power are better then the way the punch series of amps were heading. I would spend my money on smaller more high profile companies, but they're not bad by any means.

How many sets of tweeters are you thinking? Anything more then one up front, and one out back (not necessary at all) is too much IMO.

well I think that if I told you the price i got the amp and the preamp controls for, you would **** your pants SERIOUSLY.....

I want to put a set on 5.25 components up front in the factory location, and then another set of tweets on top of the door near the window. I will convert my rear 6x9'* to 6.5 components with SSE/I speaker grilles, and have the tweet in the factory location, in all it would be a 10 speaker system, with everything controlled by my preamp processor
