Default 6 CD Changer

I was riding in my friends Buick Rendivous (sp?) the other day and noticed that they have a factory 6 CD changer, where you load them into the dash unit. Since both Buick and Pontiac are GM, why is it Pontiac doesnt have a simular option on their cars? Couldnt they just change the styling?

I believe the 94-99 radios are designed to accept a delco 6-CD add-on changer. I don't know if it was ever offered on a Bonny.

Changers in the dash are handy, but I still prefer my twelve-disk changer in the trunk with the slot in the dash to play the impulsive stuff.

It was factory installed. It is mounted high on the passenger side wall of the trunk, out of the way of any cargo storage.
