I am hooking up my amp with my stock stereo what can I use for a remote wire?

on that P/A lead tho isnt it only Hot when radio is on.....? so when hes listnin to a tape/cd wont the speakerrs not work?? i might have to consult my service manual on that....

The antenna lead will work when you are listening to the radio ONLY, when you put in a tape or cd the power on the remote will turn off. You could run a toggle switch or something to a wire that is always hot and switch it as you need to. An aftermarket deck has an AMP turn on lead that is 12V whenever the deck is on.

I know I just like the ****-pit look the stock radio gives in the dark. I'll try to find something else to make it work. Upon looking hard enought I'm sure I'll find something.
