Removal of Factory radio In PA 97 tips
Replacing radio in my 97 Park ave and front/back speakers any tips on removal process and or things to look out for?

you need to do a LOT of hollowing out. gm put a cubby where the stereo goes.
as for the rear speakers, you need to use a pair of needle nose pliers to remove the center part of each push pin that holds the speakers in. dont break these, as gm charges an astonishing $4.00 for EACH ONE!!! and its next to impossible to find any at any parts store.
here is a picture of my cubby in order to fit my stereo. once i got an amp and had to run RCA preouts, i had to remove the duct looking thing. there are about 50 wires running thru that duct, so be careful if you need to cut it out.
