Default Cassette Error E13

Here is a picture of my cassette player:

When I put in a tape, it will go in, but not go down into playing place, then when I take off pressure, it will spring it out and give me an E13 on the display.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I think I remember having the same problem once last summer, is the player too hot? That was fixed by just driving a few miles, but now I have been trying to fix it for a few days, even taking long trips and turning it on a off.

Oh, and if you want to know why I have a tape, it is one of those tape adapters so I can play my iPod in the car.

Mine does the same thing too. Just haven't gotten off my lazy keester to take a look at it. Right now, busy with tranny work. And drinking beer.

Get a factory CD head unit from any member who upgraded to an aftermarket, or have the junkyarders find you one, and upgrade to CD!
