Help Needed to get a Stock CD-player
Hi!
I need help
My -93 SSE is equiped (spelling) with the cassette player with equalizer.
Since i have´nt listened to tapes in 8yrs, and don´t want to start again.
I need a CD-Player for my car.
I have a lot of Pioneer and Sony´* model´* from my old cars but they are to small and my controls at the steering wheel won´t work with them, so i have two options as i see it. 1: get a hold of a original Bonneville CD-Player and plug it in
2: Buy a Kenwood CD-Changer tha´t you plug in with the Radio antenna.
I would prefer the first, i scanned e-bay and actually found the right CD but the guy who was selling it would only send it within the U.*
So if any of you have the kind of CD-Player i need or know how i could get it i would pay good money for it and be forever thankful!

I believe my brother has one of these 1992/1993 CD decks in stock right now, but beware -these CD players are not cheap -he sold a few last year and the cheapest one he sold was $225.
PM if you are interested. Might be able to get you a deal (not much but cheaper) if he has one.

I know (with Kenwood) you can make your steering wheel controls work with the new headunit.
You need to buy an adapter that turns the steering wheel controls into IR signals, much like a remote control for your TV that "learns".
Then place the IR wire somewhere in sight of your new head unit.... and pow... your steering wheel controls now work.
I've already done it with my 91SSE, and I will be installing the same setup on my 97 in a few weeks.
