Head Unit not working!
So I went to Best Buy and got the Scoche wiring harness and hooked up all the correct wires, and my Pioneer HU does NOTHING when I turn on the car. Has anyone else had this problem? I followed the instructions and connected all the wires like they were supposed to be.

I forgot, when I tried to put the stock radio back in, the door open chime would ring constantly even if the key was out of the lock and the doors were closed. The only way I could get it to stop was if I took the stock radio back out.

What kind of kit do you have? Also, do you have OnStar? I am almost betting you do not have any switched power. Also, does your cd player have the "eject while off" function? If so, try hitting eject with vehicle off (or even on). You should hear the gears whine in there if you have a constant 12v. If not, then your constant 12v is, well, not constant and not 12v

I talked to an installer, turns out i needed to run the red wire to a constant power source somewhere else in the car. Problem solved. However I have two new problems now. #1 I get aero AM reception, and #2 the radio keeps inverting the display colors every ~10 or so. Anyone know what the heck is going on?

Hold down the source button to turn the stereo off. It verys by model to model, but usually pressing the 5 and 6 keys on the radio will toggle settings for the display inversion and demonstration modes. Newer units use different buttons, check your manual.

Does it have a remote? My Sony'* demo mode can only be stopped by using the menu button on the remote contol. For some reason they didn't put a way to change it on the deck.

That isn't a demo mode, it swaps all the colors so like all the text will be blue lighted and the background black and then it will switch it. Mine does it too. I never really looked into stopping it so I cant help you there.
