The amp is an eclipse ZA 1200 class d mono. IT is CEA certified at 1000 RMS at 4 ohms and 1200 RMS at 2 ohms which is what im running them at, it is not 1 ohm stable, 1500 max with 10%THD. So they should be getting anywhere from 500 to 600 watts each which is running them at RMS. IT would probably be a lot better if i had an upgraded alternator and all that because my lights dim quite a bit when im playing it really loud.

alt to battery, battery to ground is all you need because the alt is self grounded. Are you runnin the largest wire you can to your amp? If nit, that would be the third wire to increase. I changed my alt to battery cable to welding cable! Lol! It'* loke triple 0ga! Lol!

I have stinger 4 gauge going to the amp, which i think is fine since it only puts out 1200 watts. I dont think i can afford the welding cable but i found some 0 gauge battery cable for 3.50 a foot, how much do you think i would need for the upgrade?

I used to have that box, she is a monster but I recently changed over to a 1.6 cubic foot/sub sealed box and it sounds a lot cleaner and tighter

I couldn't say without seeing your model but just measure the distances of the main battery cable from the alternator and the ground cable from the battery to the ground

Do you think a 240 amp alternator would be too much? I was just lookin at my battery and i have 1 8 gauge wire going from my battery to my alternator and then there is a 4 gauge wire that goes from the positive down to bottom of the engine. Do i have to just replace the 8 gauge to the alt? Also i found some welding cable thats cheaper than the battery cable i found, 60$ for 25 feet of 1/0 gauge.
