Default Got the Basslink Back

Got the Basslink back yesterday and have probably put about 2-3 hours on it. This thing is pretty impressive for how small it is. It takes up next to no trunk space (that you would normally use.) The output is pretty impressive mostly thanks to the 8" woofer and the 8" radiator. The bass is not punchy unfortunately, but it does get pretty deep. My only complaint is that it sounds a little too boomy but it gets quite loud. It is almost as loud as my single 12" Pioneer with 400 watts I had in my last car.

One suggestion though is if you have a 2000+ Bonneville do NOT EVER use an auto turn-on amplifier! The radio is connected to the rest of the car and everytime I did anything including unlocking my doors with the key fob, unlocking with the key, etc, the amp turned on every single time the instant I did that. apparently because of the nature of the radio, the data signals pass through this and the amp on the basslink interperted this as music and would always turn on. the basslink also turned on every few minutes probably because of data activity within the vehicle. I can't wait to get my aftermarket Headunit because the bass is overpowering a low volumes and is almost non existant when you crank it. The stock headunit SUCKS. Then I'll also have a remote turn-on wire to use instead of the auto-sensing feature.

I forgot to add that Infinity did not REPAIR my basslink either. they REPLACED it free of charge even though my warranty should not have been valid because I bought the Unit on Ebay and I even explained that to them. I am so happy with Infinity. I can't say enough about their company. The replacement came so late because they were waiting for a replacement amp at the repair facility but I got a letter from Harman Consumer Group telling me that a new Basslink is going to be sent to my house. I wasn't expecting that in the least but the replacement did arrive a week later. Now I'm going to be getting some Infinity Kappa Perfects for my front speakers. Great Companies stand behind Great Products.

you made a good choice when you chose to go with infinity
I have 2 infinity kappa perfect 10.1 subwoofers and they are incredible
I haven't seen a setup that beats the sound quality i have in my car.
