Im on a role... LOL. In just a couple days ive changed my whole system.. From 4 Rockford Fosgate 12" subs, my buddies Alpine 2000w amp, and Panasonic deck.
To....
2 15" JL Audio subs (temporary), 1200w Soundstream XTA-600.2, and as of today a Pioneer DEH-P3500 deck. ($35 off craigslist)
I love Pioneer decks.. They r AMAZING! The sound adjustability is bar none while still being easy to use.. I hooked it up and it is a night and day differance over my old deck. I love the HP and LP filters for interior speakers and rca outs. So my interior speakers ONLY play mids and highs, while still sending my amp and subs, lots of bass, and a great signal.
However i didnt relise this deck didnt have a Aux input until it was mounted in my dash.. No big deal. I found a IP-Bus adaptor on ebay that changes my cd changer port into a 3.5mm headphone jack and rca INPUTS... neat and its only $6 shipped! So with the rca inputs i can add a dvd player, game console, ect, ect. Now i need to buy a remote. I like this little system i got.. the subs were only supposed to be temporary but the SQ is incredible with this new setup.

actually... i have toned it down a bit... The 4 12" Rockfords did there job and were ridiculously loud, but i traded 2 of em and am just using the 2 15" JL'*.. i can still adjust it to put about any other system to shame in town but i have it set for sound quality and it rocks.. and best of all my GIRLFRIEND likes it and thinks it sounds good. Kudos to me. hahaha. im only putting 150w rms to each sub. which is on the lower end of the rms rating of the subs, but if i turn it up i am getting kinda close to the xmax of these subs.
