Stock Stereo Ipod Input Kit
I've seen Acid'* post about his home-made factory Ipod input, but I'm not so electrically talented. So, is this thing too good to be true?

*Will not work with nav systems, factory cd changer ( found in back of vehicle ) , 1995-1999 radio that has in dash am/fm/cd player or sigle din 6-dish in dash cd player.
What car, DOESN'T have that?? :?

I know you can get a factory 12 disk on other GM sedans, but I have not seen them in bonnevilles.

yes i realize that is for the steering wheel controlls....BUT if you use this cable PN#12344015
and then you use this changer
you have a factory 12 disc
FYI this is for 94-99 Bonnevilles

I don't check these forums while I'm at University. I have 10 days left of my final year, then I'll be moving home to my first real job. So I will resume checking the forums daily.
I happened to be checking today cause, well I don't want to study, and I'm researching buying myself a new car. Not a Bonne though :(
Oh, and thanks for the proper capitalization, appreciated.

Second, that port is not for steering wheel controls on a 94+. the steering wheel controls were part of the main harness on the right side of the picture. if you did not have the controls, you did not have the bottom right portion of the connector(If I recall correctly)
Third, it is correct that those items will give you a factory 12 disc. The thing you left out is that it only works if you have the cassette deck, until you get to the 99+ Monsoon CD in the trans am, which gained the ability to use a CD changer. The Remote port on the CD is just for a remote cassette like the blazer'* had.
I have this setup and have run it in the past. Since the changer is my brother'* and he has a Pontiac again, it'* back in his car.
And welcome back aCiD
