red display on a pioneer?
Does anyone recall who put red filter paper in the pioneer deck? I would like to know how to do this and what model it was.

One of our members did it.. he has, or had his deck forsale. He just took the face plate apart, and put in some red tint. Really, that'* all he did. How'd he get the faceplate apart?? I bet that was straightforward, however I don't know. You of course would need a removable faceplate. You can also do the same with your Climate Control [if you have CC].

yup, that was me that did it. it was really easy to do. the hardest part was getting the green off of the bulbs. I had the pioneer Model DEH-1400. I still have the headunit in my posession and in my car, but it is sold to SSuperchergedEI. When I get my new pioneer I plan on doing the same thing
