Audio (and aftermarket electronics) This is your place for alarms, remote starters, to brag about your system, exaggerate your db levels, or simply ask questions for stock or aftermarket audio. No Flames! (except from roasted amps)

Those special edition JBL are gonna be better then Infinity.

Infinity/JBL is almost marketing now these days. Up to some debate, the best speakers from that Company was the Harmon/Kardon line in the early 90'*.. Then again, those were Made by Paradigm, and rebranded.

Infinity are my brand of choice

Note: SPL IS A MARKETING GIMMIC. Has next to nothing to do with the quality of the sound or loudness produced. I could get in deep but I will leave it at that.

Are you reffering to the Sensitivity as described in SPL?

Sorry sort of vague post lol.

refering to the relation between the efficiency of a speaker vs a "Sensitivity" rating which is in decibles not to be confused with SPL and output of a speaker. These numbers do not mean as much as a lot of folks are lead to believe.

I like Pioneer, but that'* me... I have the previous version of these:

I like em and they do their job, they seem pretty loud for 6x9'*. But now that I have my sub I dont need to worry how the 6x9'* and 5.25'* hit just how they sound. And they're 3-ways all around. Not a $200+ set, but good enough.
