The lower the frequency the more bass you will get. The lower the bass the lower the Hz is going to be.

For the subs i wouldnt go higher than about 70/ 80hz.But dont set it to low if your subs cant reproduce that low of the frequency otherwise you could damage you subs.

it depends on what size the speakers are. i have 15 and mine are crossed over at about 70 hz and that is about the max for those speakers. but the smaller the speaker, the higher it can go.

I personally wouldnt go anything over 80 hz. Anything over 120 or so I set for mid bass. Best bet is to get a bass cd. Im talking about the ones that have the different frequencies and use that to tune your subs. But for your sub in particular its frequency range is between 30-200hz. The human ear can only hear frquencies betwenn 20hz - 20,000hz. This also is depending on your hearing. The smaller the speaker the faster and more accurate it can reproduce the bass.

thats all true, but the bigger the speaker the lower it can drop. ten inch speakers are almost midbass ne way. It depends on what u want, if u want midbass in ur speakers, set it high around the frequency i talked about earlier, but if u like rap and a lot of bass, set it lower. me i would use it as more of a midbass

True but it also dpends on the sub itself. There are 10" subs that can go all the way down to 25/30 Hz. Just because there 10'* doesnt mean they can hit.
