Default 2000+ Aux location

I have recently bought Sirius Radio and found out that FM modulation SUCKS!!

My question is this:

My stock HU has an AUX button, Where would that plug in be located? Is it behind the HU or is it located in the trunk for a CD changer?

and

If I do locate this would I even be able to connect my Sirius to it?

Thanks.

Ok just did some research and found out that the Aux in is in your trunk. You will have to set the DIP switches to GM XM mode. Not sure where the DIP switches are located but look around in the trunk where the Aux plug is located.

That is what you will need to complete the install provided that your Sirius output is RCA. You may need an adapter for that as well.

I never even knew the 2000+ had an Aux option?

it doesn't exist. There'* only an auxiliary input in the trunk if the car came from the FACTORY with a cd changer. otherwise, the wiring isn't there. :(

I have'nt looked yet (its in the shop for a heater core), I don't have a factory CD changer, so I'm probably out of luck. I guess I'll just buy the antenna plug adapter and go in behind the dash - anything but the static I get from the FM modulation.

People make fun of them, but if you have a radio with a cassette deck the cassette adapter sounds WAY better than the FM Modulator. Just a FYI....
