Has anybody heard of these? I have a buddy from the football team that wants to sell a couple of 12" 1000watt max subs. I haven't heard much about these. Just that they are a German manufactured brand.
I went over to his house and looked at it, hasn't been used. This is all the information I could get about it:
Aluminum cone
dual 4 ohm + 4 ohm voice coil
aluminum diecast basket
2 ohm/ 4 ohm/ 8 ohm operation
high temperature 4-layer voice coil
double damper
bumped and vented chrome t-yoke
heavy duty industrial magnet structure
push type terminals
Let me know what you think. I'm not sure if this is a reputable brand name. I would appreciate all advice/input.

I wouldnt buy them because volfenhaugen is shameless about lying about their specs on their speakers. This is german engineering at its worst

They might be worth 40 or 50 if they come with a box at the most. IF your just kinda looking for something that will do the job, but wont get real loud, then they would be ok, however you should also be aware that they might not last very long
