Behind grill lights done!!!
I got my behind grill lights done. Just like Smellbird. I got 2 neon lights from Walmart for $10 a piece. Then hooked them to my battery, and my ground. They really fit quite well behind the grill.
All I need to do now is to hook up a switch to turn them on and off. I was gonna hook them to the fog lights, but decided against it.

I am going to do something like that in the future as well, Id like to see some pics. I bought and expandable neon kit, so all i have to do is plug it into my control unit.

Tose look cool, but gotta figure out how to make 'em legal. There'* gotta be a way, because the old (well, early/mid 80'*) Mercuries had that light up panel instead of a grill.
Hmmm......

Hmmm, I could not how to mount mine any higher. Also mine seem to project down as well as to the front. Mine are red, but I spoke with a few cops, and they said that it did not really matter since they are behind my grill. They are not super bright or flashing, so they did not care.

The other thing being that the lights are on a bonneville, as opposed to some ricer. Cops see that in a different way.

I think thats what most cops think. It doesnt really bother anyone, isnt annoying, and looks good. Plus you really can't see them clearly until you are really close to the car. I've cruised around with them in town a lot and have never been hasseled by the police.
