Default good deck

My mom has a 98 ford windstar with the standard tape deck. We are looking to replace it with a cd player. (my family has a tendancy to be behind the times with car audio our last car had an 8-track player but anyway what would be a good brand or model to put in there. Momma isn't looking to shake any teeth fillings loose so we don't need anything fancy or too expensive for that matter. So does anyone one have a personal favorite or specific brands to avoid?

I like alpine and pioneers. Good reliable units.

I like the Sony'* myself. Cheap, lot'* of features, decent sound. I ain't gonna win any rolling thunder contests, but I can drown out the crappy music from the car next door, and stay within my budget (plus, they're the only one I trust that have red lights)

Here'* the one I just got (after the break in) $119 at Circuit City

Dual makes decent, really cheap systems. Ran one of them for quite a while, before I got aggravated at the lack of a cloak.
