Default New amp and sub box install

Well I got a new amp and sub box and I am gonna hook it up soon once I get the wires I need.
I have done plenty of installs before but they were always somewhat "ghetto". I really want to do a nice clean job on this one. I have done some searching here for some good ideas. I found the info about doing the power wire through the firewall, but my question is related to the remote wire.
I am running the factory HU...for now. So is there a remote wire off the factory HU? I know that aftermarket'* have a blue wire coming off for remote, but don't know about factory.
I also plan to put an on/off switch inside some where so I can control it when the kids are in the car. Should the switch hook to the constant or the remote?
My other :?: is about using the high level inputs. Since I have always used aftermarket, I am used to rca'*. For the high level do I just branch off one of the rear speakers or should I use both rears? And the harness has a positive and negative but also a black ground wire. Is this like a regular grond like on the power part of the amp or is this different?
I'll get up some pics if I can.
Also, there will be pics of the completed install, and maybe some in progress. I have some big plans
Thanks.

Can't find any pics online...I'll take some tonight.
I got a cheap package at Walmart consiting of one - 10 inch sub in an enclosure with a 300 watt (max) mono sub amp by Visonik. The whole thing only costs $50.00. I don't expect much sound for that price but I'll take whatever I get. I did save the receipt though just in case...
I have to say just going by looks I am very impressed. It certainly looks like it would ( should) cost alot more. The amp is tiny. Probably only like 6 x 6 inches.
As I said I got some cool ideas on how to do a nice clean, cool looking install.
If they drop more in price and I can convince the wife I may even pick up a second one. ( I have a design idea for that already too, just incase!)
