Aftermarket Head Unit Question
OK I want to get a Pioneer 1DIN HU and I know my stock size is 1.5DIN so who makes the best adapter to fit a 1DIN in a 1.5DIN slot? I would like the adapter to be flat, if at all possible. My friend who has a lumina got this adapter that sort of sticks out (to make the HU more accessible) and a lot of dust gets stuck between the adapter and the dash board. Sorry if that is not a good description... thanks for any suggestions!!

Here try this link to Crutchfiled they have some kits but I think any BestBuy or AudioKing will have these as well, but if you do the select your vehicle thing near the top right hand conner that should take most of the guess work out.

the trip pops out, I use a screwdriver and start on the left, by the drivers side door. Radio has 3 screws in the front and then it just slides right out...

Trip?? Like the dash? Sorry... I obviously have never done this before. But as long as I'm posting I bought a Pioneer DEH-P7500MP and a pair of Pioneer TS-A6980R 6x9'*. I am going to try and install all of it by myself, so there may be many questions that follow.

No pics of the radio right now, but it'* just a cheapy.
The mounting adapter and the wiring harness were seperate, but they only added up to about 20-30 bucks. And the part I had to trim was actually up inside the dash, I had to trim anout 1/4 inch off of a brace or something so the radio would go in deep enought to mount flush.
