Is this any good???
I don't have a ton of money and I was looking for CD decks today. I'd like a Clarion unit..but that is more expensive than I can afford in the near future.
I want one with red lighting...and I found a very good looking one today. They sell it at Best Buy and Pepboys...it'* a 180 WATT (45W x 4) brand name is "Dual". It has red lighting, detachable face (which is what I want) Looks good. I don't think I've ever heard of "Dual" before though. It'* around $100-120.
What do ppl think of this HU?

Got a pic? I thought Clarion is pretty good...but I'm not much of an audiophile. All I know is I was happy with my Sony.
Oh off topic, Paul said if I want my Pioneers back from RLD I can have em
Ok..back on topic :P

Dude if you want those speakers back take 'em!!!! You don't need 'em with the RORA but I'll buy them from you!?!! name the price!!!
Here'* a link to the DUAL. The first 3 are all DUAL. The first on is the 180 WATT one. I could also get the other 2.

I may not go with this one (below) afterall...may be too cheap in price which could mean poorer quality. I'm looking to spend no more than $170-180.

I have that exact stereo!!
You're not gonna win any shows with it, but it ain't bad. And the red glowing face has a really cool look to it. (The whole face is translucent with red lighting behind it)
The major dislike of mine is it doesn't display the time unless you push the button, or turn the unit off.
All in all, a good budget unit

If you plan to do any serious stuff, like real speakers etc later, save it up. I paid 180 for my MP3 rockford deck. It'* red, and it has infrared remote capability, so you could get the adapter for your controls.

MOS...so you like yours huh? It said it was good quality but "won't play every disc from CD'* to Frisbees" I didn't know wtf that meant It does look nice though.
But I'll wait and save up for a nice JVC or if I get lucky with $$ I'll get a Clarion for $250. But I don't plan on subs in the future. Just some decent 6x9'*
(and MAYBE some new front ones)

And yeah, I like it, but then again, I don't like the mobile concert bit myself. If you're planning on High end speakers and what not, your probably better off waiting. If you want something to get you by for a year or two until you get the bucks for a good system, it'll definitely get the job done.

MOS...this is their quote on the deck...kinda confused me. Maybe it means it doesn't play MP3 encoded discs?
"Dual 45W x 4 CD Deck with Preamp Outputs, Auxiliary Input and Remote
Model: XD6100
This deck won't play every disc from CDs to Frisbees but it will treat you to superb CD stereo, 180 watts of clean power, digital tuner with 24 presets and preamp outputs for even more beef."
