Do you think this would be a good amp to push two 12" alpine type R'* at 2 ohms.Kenwood Excelon X1200M Mono subwoofer amplifier — 1,200 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms at Crutchfield.com

to be honest that amp would under power them by a good bit. it does 800 RMS but was rated at 14.4 volts so would end up doing less than that

ha ok fair enough i just seen the 3999 they wanted for the kenwood and went off that lol. but yeah id say if your on a budget ya might want to chech out the MB quart amps on woofersetc.com. from what ive seen and heard of those they put out great power and built tough for the price.

I would like it too be CEA 2006 certified as well. I got a price limit of about 400, maybe i should just go all out and get the alpine MRP-M2000 i can find it for like 420$.

...just tossin ideas lol...AudioQue audioque has very good customer servixe and crazy good products with prices that cant be beat to say the least. a guy from another forum was runnig 2 10'* off the 2200, all audioque and was in a standard cab chevy truck and did like a 146.xx on the meter which is crazy lous for the space used. they deliver... but like i said just an idea. and check em out on youtube, actions speak louder than words lol
