there are 2 different lights that are in the doors.

There is a 5mm LED already in the door and then there is the door light with the really small bulbs.

you can check to see if they have the bulb here:
http://www.autolumination.com/

otherwise you may have to make something custom.

Many have turned them red etc. You could simply find a light filtering cap for blue to put on the existing bulb.

What type of vehicle are you working on? Maybe I'm not reading this correctly but are you trying to replace existing LED'* with blue ones, replace incandescents with LED'* or a combination of both. LED'* are not a direct replacement for incandescent bulbs. The commercially available LED bulb replacements (Ie for 194'* and 1157'*, etc) have additional components in the base of the assy. Discrete LED'* have a range of operating voltages. Red for example often operate at 1.9 - 2.2 VDC and cannot be "dropped" in as a direct replacment. Blue LED'* generally operate at a slightlly higher voltage. In order to do this you also have to consider adding a current limiting resistor. If you are looking at LED'* do you require surface mount on through hole? If surface mount, you'll also required some more specialized tools to avoid damaging the parts. If you want correct lighting, you'll need to spec in a part rated with the appropriate millicandela rating. There are literally hundreds of discrete LED possibilities depending on what you're trying to achieve.

Has anyone found... a replacement led or a way to make leds work for the small white bulbs?
