Default Differences for new HU 95 to 97

Ok, most of you have seen my install into my 95 for a new HU. It included rebuilding my steering wheel controls, making a nice connector from HU to factory wire harness, flush mount Bonneville SSEi Supercharged mount.

Today CFoote was over and I decided it was time to move things over before prepping to sell my 95 SSEi. HU is one of them.

I pulled the trim panels and removed the 95 HU and PAC SWI in less than 2 minutes. Stock radio out of the 97. There'* a piece of fiberglass in the way in the 97. A couple moments with my dremel tool and it disappeared. Then having the Bose system I wasn't getting any volume or sound. Move the second connector on the stock radio orange wire over to the other factory harness where I have power for the 95 amplifier. Got sound now. Steering wheel controls wire n 95 is pin 13, in 97 it'* pin 14...moved wire over and PAC now works. Oh...moved my seat control pod over since thats where my pac transmitter resides.

Now...it'* sweet and I've got the perfectly fine radio out of the 97 to sit on the shelf.

Ya those Bose speakers sound pretty good (they're still BOSE however ) But I wouldn't mess with 'em til they are blown. They do blow easy according to this forum so go easy!
