Dimming.
Hey guys what'* up? Well, I tried posting about this on a jeep forum, but they didn't really help out since they aren't really into the sound systems. So I'll give it a shot here. Well, I put a sound system in my Jeep a while ago. It consists of two 12" subs, a 760watt amp, two 5.25" speakers up front, and I am going to modifiy my rear to fit some 6x9"*. When I have my system turned up a little, the light on the deck tends to dim when the bass hits, and when the interior light is on that tends to dim also. Does this mean I am going to need a capacitor? Come summer I'm going to be upgrading my system, so I will most likely need one then. If there might be any other problems causing this let me know. Thanks.

I agree with toasty, a cap, IMO, is like putting a bandaid on a wound that needs stitches. It may help for a while, but it is not the solution.
I would also suggest doing the "big 3" if you have not already. It cured(/made it a LOT better) my dimming problem, and there is a chance it would do the same for yours.
The best route would be a stronger alt. and a better battery.
