Looks like your dealer found the problem - the heater/AC fan motor. It runs all the time the ignition is turned on or the engine is running.

I think that we have isolated the problem to the resistor that is attached to the blower motor. I just have to find a way of convincing the dealer that is the most likely solution. Also, the cheapest fix. Thanks to all

The fan resistor on my Nissan didn't work. A new one would have cost £55 ($90). I made one with parts from an electronics store for £6 + an hour of my time.
