Uh, not on the road, but rather aftermarket electronics, so off it goes...

Do you have an SSEi like your sig says or an SESC, based on your avatar? I'm gonna guess SESC, cause an SSEi would already have a boost gauge.

Autometer makes great gauges, Jegs or Summit sells them at a good price.

Go with autometer (I have a phantom series one on my car). You can get them from any performance store or even better yet ebay. Mine ran me $42 and some change out the door.

For install on a series one all you have to do is cut the one hard vac line that goes over the */C to the FPR, install a 1/8" rubber T (not supplied with the kit), and run about 6' of plastic 1/8" line into the cabin to the back of the gauge.

Once you get the gauge installed you'll be amazed how much the stock boost gauge is off. It seems to be close or maybe right on (I max mine out) for peek boost but anything for VAC or mid boost is way off. Also you'll be amazed how quick the gauge is - no floating like the stock one.
