My Install So Far...
Well if anyone wants to know... I finished the functional part of the install today.
Notes:
If you want to take the remote turn on off your power antenna, it'* the thin green wire in the middle of the box that screw onto the side of the antenna, you'll see what I'm talking about if you pull the carpet back.
On the read 6x9s you have to take the signal off the weird plug adapter style connectors, easy to do, there'* a trick to it, remove the grey clip in the side, and slide the wires in there, and put the clip back in, it holds the wires in there perfectly, even 16 guage.
Pics: (Note: Just the functional portion for testing, I have MUCH planned for sexiness of the install) More on that later.
Oh ya, it sounds awesome too Those little guys sure make a load of bass. Nice and tight, and sonically accurate even at rediculous levels.

3/4" MDF, custom designed and built by myself to fit the little recess in the trunk perfectly. And it'* exactly .75 cubic ft. per woofer, the exact recommended volume. Screwed, glued, and siliconed.
The damn thing weighs 55lbs, but its indestructable.

Now this is what it looks like laying down, the real purpose is if I want the trunk space, and to protect the woofers, you flip the board up so its infront of the woofers, and then you'll see the backside which will have Bonneville, the Pontiac logo, and SSEi on it. I'm currently still in the design phase for that side. I'll post it when I'm done that design.

And I just 'finished' the underside design. But I'm not 100% happy with it, I can't figure out what it'* missing, so suggestions are welcome for either side.

I dunno about that setup... seems your amp would touch the subs... I think if you mounted your amp and such behind the speaker box it would give you a cleaner look.

That is correct it would hit the subs, but I'm not going to let that happen :P. First, if it'* ever in the flipped up position, they'll be shut off, and second I'm going to design a system that will space everything just right, so nothing will be touching.
