Cassette tape stuck in '91 Bonneville
I have a 1991 Bonneville with the factory stereo. A tape is stuck in the tape player. I wouldn't care much, except the tape is part of a "book on tape" from my local library. I don't wanna pay for it.
Does anybody know how I can coax the tape player into giving me back this tape?
Thanks in advance...

I had to remove my radio from the car and remove the face in order to get a tape out of mine. One of the flaps was bent.
It'* been a couple of years since I had to do it but removal of the radio is simple with the exception of a spring steel clip right in the middle of the bottom of the radio. If you don't know it'* there, you'll be scratching your head for a while wondering why the radio isn't coming out. I can't remember if I released this clip from the ashtray cavity or just inserted a screwdriver under the radio... gettin' old, memory is failing me...
The face comes off pretty easily too as it'* secured with 8 plastic clips molded into the face which attach to the metal housing. Make sure you remove any ***** and/or EQ slider ends to make removal easy.

Thanks Randman1.
I was hoping for a magic bullet... you know... "just stick a screw driver and hit the latch release located at the back of the..." or something.
Lazy... I know...
Apart she comes...

I finally found that magic bullet I was looking for...
Being the lazy bastardo that I am, I was going to avoid disassembly until the very last minute. In the mean time, I drove around pushing the eject button. Appearantly, if you hit the "eject" button several thousand times... it may eventually spit out the tape... no disassembly required.
