Okay, so do I tap into this IGN wire or the power wire to the radio? And if it'* the power wire, wouldn't that take away somewhat from the radio'*/amplifier'* performance?

No, it won't have any adverse affect on the radio/amp. It does not represent any significant loading on that ckt. We're just talking halo'*, right?

Right, just the halos. Which wire do I butcher up?

Need a gearhead with 92-95 electrical schematics to give you the details. BillBoost, or Andy agc, or Bill Wren, or Randy should be chimin in here sometime. They may be taking a nap or something.

This has gone on way too long. This is on a 92 and you want them on with the lights always or only when you turn on a switch?

Here'* how I hooked them up.

Throw their relay and switch in garbage.
Connect +wire from angels to fog light connector +
Connect -wire from angels to fog light connector -
Connect halo (yellow) to brown parking light wire on d/* headlight.

Bout an hour to hook it up and weatherproof.

Okay, that'* almost exactly what I want, except instead of halo to parking light, I want halo to radio. I just need to know which radio wire to cut into. I've heard power wire and IGN, but I don't know which one to go witih.

Ok.. I think it'* yellow. Test it with a multimeter.

You do realize by doing that anytime your ignition is on the halo led'* will be on, they will not be visible during the day, and they will fail much quicker by running them all the time.

Yeah, but there will be a switch to turn them on or off. I just want it wired with the radio so that it will cut off with the radio.

btw1217,
Hate to beat a dead horse, I'm really at a loss. What is the link to the radio? Why do you want this tied to ign. or power to the radio? What affect are you trying to achieve? On the newer Bonnes (2000+) the cigarette lighters are on a ten minute time delay "off" after ignition is turned off. This feature is not part of RAP because when you open a door, the lighters are still live for an additional ten minutes. I don't know if the 92'* have this feature. The best way to go is what Billboost outlined above. Other members have also configured halo to parking lights, it'* easy & simple to do.
