Default Another Angel Eye question (about wiring this time)

On my Bonneville (yours is the same, I'm sure), any accessories left on cut off 10 minutes after the ignition is switched to Off in order to save the battery. Would it be possible to wire my Angel Eyes to cut off with everything else after 10 minutes? Has anyone tried this?

It sounds like you're referring to the Retained Accessory Power or RAP relay which is a time delay relay that drops out 10 minutes after ignition off, or if you open a door the 10 minute power off delay is cancelled. The radio & power windows are on RAP. I'm sure there is a way to integrate the Angel Eyes into the RAP feature. You need a gearhead with a good schematic. What is the year/trim level of your Bonne?

Ive got a 95, i have the regular fog light part hooked up to the the orignal car switch, i put another switch in for the angel eyes, i used my red power wire off of my aftermarket deck so when the radio is off the power is off to the angel eyes, i also put a light in between the switch so when the light is on i know that the angel eyes are off, what year is your car

It'* a 92 SE; 4 Door, 3.8 Liter. I like the radio idea, but I'd like to be able to use the angel eyes with the radio off, even though I almost always listen to the radio. I may do that though.

Toast..I believe in 92 power to cig lighter is constant. I'd aim for the radio power...it'll stay on til the door is opened or the minutes run out. Radio on or off doesn't matter

Which wires should I splice together for that?

Tie into the radio power wire for the led wire to your eyes.

Could I wire the main part into it somehow? I could wire it to the stock fog wire, but I'd like to be able to use one switch for both main and ring.

Ok.. The ring is useless when the lights are on.

But you could merely tap into the fog light connector at the lights like you did for the main light.

Or.. Hook the ring to your parking light (I used the driverside inner amber light) and that way they are on anytime the headlights are on and you can control the driving lights with the switch.
