Default want to add a sub (cheap as possible)

I have some parts to stick in, but will have to buy some. Don't want a full blown system(already have in the sonoma) My option RPO'* are

UZ8 - speaker system, 8 premium
U1C - radio, am/fm stereo,seek/scan,compact disk, clock, ETR

I don't believe I have an external amp( asking for verification). Rear spk wires go to the groumet on the pass side above the fender along with the ant wires.

I have a cheap sony amp(xm502z) with high level imputs, a 10" box, a 12" sub(mtx eliminator-free air).

I have never done a high level system so my ? is, can I split the rear that go the the 6x9'* and send to the amp and to the 6x9'* (what imp does the HU see the amp as)
and since the rear tweets are a sep wire, can I just replace the rear 6x9'* with cheaper dual cone or single cone 6x9'*, or just leave and put a bass blocker on the line.

How and where are the tweets bandpassed out in the stock setup.

i guess this is for your 97. IF you have the bose nameplate you have a amp for the rear speakers.

i would get a line converter, hook it up to your 6x9 wires and then plug the RCAs into the amp.

you will need to run a powerwire to get the amp power

SSEi, has the Bose Dynamic Equalization badge under the HU.

Walmart has a line converter that is a 4 channel pass thru. It'* only $17. I picked up a Q-Logic 12" box instead of buying a sub for the 10" box. It was $100, but it fits perfectly in the trunk, under the back deck and still gives me access through the rear seat pass thru. Need to keep trunk space more than the bass.

I'll have to find the amp then, it'* not in the trunk. I pulled the covers off of the back spkrs, blew out the dust bunnies and was suprised how well it sounds now. I would get a weird rattle on the low stuff but now it'* gone. Maybe just re-arranging things took care of rattle.
