Default Pins 2, 5, 14 and 16 is all you need

I've had the idea that since I hook up my full blown scan tool w/o unhooking the Aeroforce gauge. Why not tap in another OBDII connector?

I did and referred to the pin locations of the Aeroforce, checked.. connected and tested.

4 pins is all we need to hook up the gauge. Pins 2, 5, 14, 16 and the power wire (seperate).

As well I tossed the abling into some loom, I ran it up to the hud panel.
Here'* the loomed wires

The gauge is now hooked up and in the "temporary hud gauge pod". The pod is still in the making. It doesn't touch the dash like it should and another pod needs to be added, then texture and paint the proper color.

No, he'* not swapping a HUD, but it has been done. See this thread.

The "auxiliary OBDII" seems like a great idea, Boost. So the extra tap will be for the Aeroforce, while leaving the original tap for a scantool?
