Look in the HU owners manual and give us a description of the 'remote' wire.

Ok well in the owner'* manual it doesn't say anything about the 'remote' wire but trust me I am pretty sure it doesn't have anything to do with the amp... it is a wire with a wierd sized connector on the end... I think that I am going to try just hooking up a wire on the 12v accessory line and trying to touch it to the stock hookups that don't have anything connected to them. Would this work :?: Thanks!

I would have to look at your owners manual for the new stereo.

OK well that didn't work either... damn you bose !!! I blew one fuse thus far. I tried connecting a 12v source of power onto two lines that used to have something connected to them... but now because of the new wiring harness do not, and that did not work either... what should I do guys??

Don't randomly plug wires. You need the wiring diagram from the car and also from the car stereo. Need to know which wires go where.

I don't think that I need the diagram from the cd player becasue I have hooked up all of the wires from the CD player. I think you said something about a 12volt line that tells the amp to turn on... it makes perfect sense I just need to know where to plug it into. If anyone has a wiring diagram for the bose system on a 1997 SSE bonneville I would appreciate it a lot.

Well, in the 94 it is shared with the antenna. You're looking for a dark green wire. If you find the antenna, you should find the amplifier.
