thats the EXACT same radio I installed in my car a few weeks ago. 5Volt pre-amp outputs, SFEQ, XM, nice.....!

I have a 2002 and in order to install it (without it sticking out an inch or more) the subdash had to be cut away to allow the new radio to slide all the way in. I n addition, becuase of the type of factory harness used, the harness kit had to be "glued" to the facotry harness (there was no way to clip them together)

Love that pioneer!

Very cool. Do you like yours?? I wanted something that would play MP3'* and the graphic display was also a nice feature. A little off topic, what is the dif. between Premier and Pioneer?

the Pioneer Premier radios have twice as long a warranty when installed by an authorized Pioneer shop, and some other little features too... if you want to see the diff:

Have you changed your background display yet? Thats a cool feature!

BTW: I love mine! I had a re-furb premier that died after 6months, I kept the steering wheel remote and it works fine with the new 7500 just fine.

There should be an adapter to fit it for fairly cheap. I'll have to look at this later. Been thinking about getting an mp3 player...

hook a stand alone speaker directly up to the correct wire pair on the harness to see if you actually do have sound coming out of the harness.

Well maybe some good news. I tried hooking the CD player up to my new 6x9s and they worked. I only hooked up one speaker but it played music, what should my next move be... none of the speakers that are in the car work. Could it be the Bose amp? What else? Thanks!
