I may try for that one day, but nowhere in the foreseeable future.

My reasons for doing/documenting this, was no one had documented it previously, I'm cheap, cheap especially when I know I could fix the problem with a little Engineering, I like a good challenge/project, and aftermarket HUs look TERRRRRRIBLE.

I finished up the install today. Switching between CD and iPod is done with the seat selector switch. R is ipod, while L and Center are CD. I tapped into the retained accessory power so the relay can stay triggered on iPod until you open the door.






My brother won the Shuffle in a contest, but he had an iPod already, so all this only cost me $8 for the relay at Radio Shack!

So... You know it wouldn't be very hard to manually switch the radio into AUX mode... Find the wire that switches the radio over. Look up the chips on google and look at their function.
