Although carbon fiber has its origin in Air Force and NASA technology, there’* nothing stealth about Coustic Carbon Fiber subwoofers. With the long excursion design, they’ll hear you from a block away. Coustic’* engineers designed the Carbon Fiber series to play loud with complete accuracy. The true, woven carbon fiber cone and black Santoprene rubber surround combine with high temperature voice coils and huge, 3" Kapton formers to deliver all the bass you, and fellow motorists, can handle. A flat progressive spider, extended pole piece, and polished top and back plates allow the Carbon Fiber series to keep its cool while belting out some ground-shaking bass. Take a look at the back, and the nuclear yellow cast aluminum basket will burn a hole in your retinas.
Features
* Woven Carbon Fiber Cone
* Woven Carbon Fiber Dust Cap with Embossed Coustic Logo
* Yellow Stitched Black Santoprene Rubber Surround
* Dual 3" High-Temperature 4-Layer Voice Coils
* Kapton Voice Coil Former
* Polished Chrome Finish Top and Bottom Plates
* Flat Progressive Spider Structure
* Extended and Vented Pole Piece
* 75 Oz. High-Energy Strontium Magnet
* Nuclear Yellow Cast Aluminum Basket

Nothing personal, but the pictures screams cheap at me. The fact that the rubber surround is stitched to the cone is kinda really A sheet of real CF that size costs about $65 cdn i bet..
As for power, it probably wont take more then 200RMS, probably less.

I've never seen those before, but if nothing else it LOOKS really cool.
From an aestetic point of view, the stitched surround looks awesome :P
They're rated at 250W RMS, my experience with subs in this price/power range I wouldn't give it more than 150, and be careful even then.
But no biggie, you can replace just the sub for about $10 shipped.

I have a coustic amp in my car and it seems really sturdy. They are not a big brand name but their amp i bought won innovation of the year and it I have had no problems with it. I have had no expirence with their speakers but if it is as good as the amp that i have, they have quality stuff, for a good price.
