Default ipod input...

Well, I stumbled upon a product that could cure all my pleasures....

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ipod-...spagenameZWD1V

This doo-hickey connects the ipod to the cd changer input on the back of the JVC headunit (i have) in my car. Does anyone have any experience with this?

I have big plans, big plans if this will work...its gonna look sweeeet. promise.

unless foiled by negative responses..

Thanks!

Should work as long as your head unit has the option to change the connection on the back between CD changer and Aux In modes in its menus.

The only thing I see that I'd warn you of, is the connector on the iPod end is big and rectangular. Compare it to the connector cable that comes with the iPod, it is much slimmer. It made a difference for me with a similar cable that connects to my Pioneer head unit. The thick rectangular connector didn't fit through the opening in my iPod'* case, which is one that you just leave on all the time. I had a choice of either enlarging the case opening to accomodate the connector, or trimming down the connector to fit the case opening. I trimmed down the connector.

Other than that, it should work well.

Is that an actual JVC setup, or a homemade version?
