Default Losing Highs on Front Stock Speakers (Non-Bose)

The Highs in both front speakers and maybe rear, I don't really know, keep cutting out, particularly with CD-Rs. Its totally intermittant, and turning the power off and on doesn't help, any ideas?

Which Head Unit are you running the speakers off, Factory or Aftermarket ?

If its a factory amplified system it could be the Amp or it could be bad connections at the speakers or corrosion etc.

First thing I would do is check the speakers individually by playing with the Balance & Fade control on the Deck, the next time this happens.

Does the midrange cut out or just the Tweeters ?
