Default Bought a GMOS-09... No sound

Can someone please tell me what I can do to get my cd-player to put out sound. I have a 2002 Bonneville SSEi with monsoon radio. I bought a GMOS-09 so that my OnStar would work along with other things. So now my radio works along with it turns off when you open the door, and turns off when you push OnStar. (Which I was told means it works correctly). But now I have no sound anywhere. No chimes nothing. My guess is the Monsoon amp isn't turning on. I have done some research and it sounds like I need to be doing something with a wire? But I have no clue what A3 pin is or where. Can someone please help me out with this? It kind of sucks to have spent $120 and still not work.

Pin A3 requires +12V to turn on your amplifier. This should not be constantly on, only when your stereo is on. It is located on the 32 pin connector that plugs into your vehicle harness. If you look at how your connector was normally situated in the back of the radio bay, it will be on the bottom row, 3rd from the right. On the VEHICLE harness side, it will be a pink wire.

You should have found a Blue/White wire on the GMOS-09 module. This wire connects to the amp turn-on wire coming out of your new head unit. This wire ultimately connects to pin A3 on the 32 pin connector. You'll find the Blue/White wire on the 10 pin connector of the module.

Have you checked your fuse box???

Also, what kind of deck do you have? That would help...

And make sure the ATT function isn't on...

OH and you wouldn't happen to be playing your radio really loud, would you? That did it with mine... If I blasted the radio and turned the car off then on, the amp would reset itself and wouldn't turn on until the next startup...

The impression I have is that you have no sound (chimes, stereo, OnStar) at all. The only indication I have that this is "working" is that when you push the OnStar button, your stereo turns off. Is this correct?

No fuses are blown. The Aftermarket HU hasn't even put any sound at all. So I haven't been able to turn it up. LOL, I just kept reading in the other forums that I need to somehow hook up a remote wire for my Monsoon amp to the wiring harness. I am not sure though

Yes that is correct. When I push OnStar it turns the radio off and if I push it (onStar) again, the radio turns back on. Also when i take out the key, the radio stays on until I open the door. Like the factory stereo. But no chimes, nothing

Could you post a picture of your harness all wired up?
