Unhappy 2000 SSEi Check CD error!

Hey whats going on guys. Got a problem with my stock cd player in my car. It was working fine for me for over 5 months and then as i took out the cd that was in the player it said cd check right away. It wont except any cd'* i've tried every cd i had scracthed/brandnew doesnt matter. As i put a cd in the player it right away says check cd no matter what. and the wierd thing is.. If there isnt even a cd in the player it thinks there is one in it and tries to eject it. So constantly its saying check cd and making the eject noise. Unless if i just let it push the cd out and let the cd sit outside the player it wont say cd check. dont know whats wrong with it. Im leaving for boot camp in 20 days and it sucks this happened right when im about to leave so if anyone could help me try to fix this cd check problem that would be great. Thanks
