Since I would rather not have it as loud as I would want tight bass, I would go for a closed box.
Do you require more power for closed boxes and what would be a better frequency to tune it to....100 hz, 80 hz or 50 hz. :?:

you should go with more power with a seald box but it reallt isnt necesssary. You do not have to tune a sealed box but you need to find out the subs, recommended enclosure specs, and they build the box so it fits in hte right cubic foot range

Paul, you would want a sealed box.
When they talk about what frequency it'* the Hz a ported box is tuned too by the port size and design. Dosen't really apply to sealed setups, now a sealed setup is set to a certain frequency but the box it self is not.
